Former U.S. Senator Alphonse D’Amato led an eminent career as a politician. He spent nearly 20 years in the senate as a representative of New York.

Alphonse D’Amato was born in Brooklyn and was raised in Long Island. Before his career as a politician, he received his BS at the Syracuse University and later on his JD at Syracuse’s distinguished law school.
