Hairspray is the story of a chirpy teen named Tracy Turnblad, a hopeful performer who wishes to earn a position on a local telly programme called the Corny Collins Show. Tracy aspires to racially join together the program, & as anyone may well imagine, Tracy is met with a significant amount of disagreement.

Hairspray transferred to the West End in two-thousand & seven, opening for journalists at the Shaftesbury Theatre on October eleventh, before being unveiled to the paying public at its real opening on October 30, two thousand & seven. The production has had some great actors — Michael Ball plays the character of Edna Turnblad, Tracy’s very own mother, providing a magnificent interpretation in this taxing female part, whilst Mel Smith played joke shop owner Wilbur Turnblad, Tracy’s father. The original cast in the London West End also includes newcomer to the stage, Leanne Jones, in the main position of Tracy.

Hairspray the musical has gained loads of encouraging mentions from journalists & show goers alike. Jacqueline said: “I have been to see the show four times now and I will be certainly going back yet again sometime next week and a few more times after that. I love the theatre show and wish they could stay on longer. Ben Ellis is splendid as link and Leanne Jones as Tracey and Michael Ball, well they are all simply great. The musical show hairspray is definitely my favourite, simply because it is optimistic and if you are feeling down in the dumps then it is certain to make you feel a whole lot happier. I definitely give it a ten out of ten – I love it well done everyone.

Now that we have entered the information age full tilt it seems astrology is even in demand more than ever before. Some people want to debunk it as utter hogwash while others embrace it as a legitimate way to look at things that happen in everyday lives depending on various factors. As a kid you would look up to the stars and just sit at utter amazement, this is what many people think about astrology it’s amazing while others have an not so glowing review of it. I don’t think there really are too many people who can say they have never looked at their horoscope. This tells me that there is some demand for it or it wouldn’t be here. It’s a complex debate that seems to get bigger every year.

According to many people astrology is a basic roadmap of your lives and how they may turn out. Others believe it’s just something to get people to believe something that just aren’t true, one thing is for sure both sides have valid points and neither side wants to budge on the point. Let’s take both sides of the issue first. The nonbeliever say it’s used to foster a false hope in something that isn’t going to happen and it lets people down when things just don’t come true. Money also plays an issue into this as million’s dollars are spent on astrology products yearly and many people are obviously offended by that others aren’t. Then we have the believers who will cite you case after case of predictions that have come true. Readings that have been right on every week or month, so we are basically backed at square one aren’t we. Or are we?

Because the Verizon FIOS Internet was already there, it was no problem for the installer to hook it up to the TV. He was able to utilize the Coax splitter I already had in place, splitting the wire leading to the router. The coax cable laid outside, gets split as they enter your house, spread to all your rooms and in the process a downstream cable gets into the Coax connector of Verizon Internet Router. From that point the router communicated TCP/IP over RJ-45 and provides the house, but this is also used to assign IP addresses to the DVR over coax. A DVR is known as a Digital Video Recorder. It allows you to record programs to a hard disk for viewing later. That is also included with the FIOS package.

This DVR has a storage capacity of 17 viewing hours in HD, or 60 in SD broadcast (Similar Defintion) or whichever combination of options you choose. Like with the majority of DVR devices, it is possible to adjust every recording as “protected”. It is not deleted automatically. or have to line up endlessly waiting with the final x recordings. You can choose all shows to include repeats, or only new shows.

The price for core package is 43$ a month. For this you get several DVR options ranging from standard HD, standard DVR and HD DVR. Cable was costing us close to $60 and we don’t watch enough TV to justify spending that much. Premium channels cost the same as with cable, most likely since HBO and Showtime set their own costs, rather than the provider.

All things considered, we’ve been totally delighted! The STB functions properly, the screen image is wonderful, and I’m very confident that new software and On-Demand movies will be made available from Verizon. It is my opinion that the first month of Verizon FIOS TV in my state has set the stage right for its great progress. I feel that local cable does not compete with this service.
