Justin Bieber – Up for Gulf Aid Telethon
Justin Bieber will be joined by Cameron Diaz, Robert Redford, Kathy Griffin and Sting.
Aired Monday night, June twenty-one at eight P.M. EDT ( midnight GMT ), the gig will include the guest stars sitting with Larry King for interview and taking spectators calls and donations at the telephone banks.
In addition, Sting will make a special performance and Ryan Seacrest will host a special “Social Suite” on such social networks as Facebook and Twitter. People can take part online to raise the profile of what folks can do to help victims of this enormous oil spill. “The Gulf oil spill is a tragedy both nationwide and natural in scope, and the point of this effort is to get fast relief to the people and Wildlife who are in critical need,” King announced in a statement released by CNN. “The telethon’s proceeds go straight to the relief setups who are working on the frontlines to do just that.”
The proceed from this telethon will benefit United Way, the nation’s Wildlife Federation and The Nature Conservancy, setups working immediately with the families, people and Wildlife impacted by the Gulf oil spill.
