What’s the fun in planning a wedding and not doing it up right? Allow me to tell everyone a thing or three about the Cox family’s fanciful flair for throwing Chicago weddings to remember. Perhaps if you’ve ever visited the Chicago metro, you’ve heard about us and how we take pride in a lengthy practice of hosting fantastic wedding events.

The wedding industry is our life. And we’re lucky to know dozens of wedding fashion experts, photographers and hair dressers. My younger brother is a very charming wedding singer songwriter and violinist (and one of the best). Recently my assistant has searched the creme de la creme of talent using a site for wedding resources. Of course, I was raised planning wedding planning. As a stellar high class wedding planner who takes her job seriously, I am at long last planning my luxury wedding with a little insight from sister. Did I mention that I am head over heals in love! Some say I’ve been swept off my heels by the most wonderful guy.

My mom, Chicago wedding cake vendor vendor and I, are peas in a pod and besties forever. She is slightly thrilled for me and my adorable Oggie Bear. Tuesday, we pulled out the old stills of my mom’s notoriously tacky Dallas wedding. It was hilarious, but trends come and go. There’s a moral about timelessness in that.

I’m so excited for my wedding. My father is so generous to be taking care of all the reservations, and all our friends and family will be at one of the fanciest Chicago wedding reception halls! I dare not reveal to you date and time because who needs wedding crashers. It’s a great time to be getting married, ringing in our love in style with those closest to us. We all realize that’s what a luxury wedding is most essentially about. The chivalry of life.
