Getting a tooth whitening treatment at a cosmetic dentist is going to offer you nearly instant results. There are many causes for our teeth becoming anything but white. Another great method is hydrogen peroxide. Hydrogen peroxide will help to break down the plaque so that you can brush it away with normal brushing and flossing of your teeth. This is one of the most common methods of teeth whitening and it can be done with the desired results in just one visit.

The best way to keep your teeth white is to reduce the food staining foods and drinks that you consume. This is most likely not something that you are going to be willing or able to do and thats understandable. If the cost of either tooth whitening treatment is too high than there are some alternatives, but its important that you understand that you will not receive the results instantly. Most of the teeth whitening products do not have large amount of peroxide to instantly brighten your teeth. But they will help and over time it will give you the desired results. When you are looking at the different at home products to buy read the label and buy the product that has the highest amount of peroxide for better results.
